Tequila Inside and Out

An Exploration with Julio Bermejo and Thomas Estes, Tequila Ambassadors to the US and Europe (respectively)

Agave spirits have a long, intriguing and delicious history and tequila has become one of the most popular spirits in the world in the last several years. These two menu are largely responsible for that. Through their work traveling throught the world preaching the gospel of the culture, art and passion behind the tequila industry, they have elevated the category into the level of respect and enjoyment it receives today.

Please join us in welcome San Francisco's own Julio Bermejo (Tommy's Mexican Restaurant) and London-based restaurateur and tequila desciple Tomas Estes (La Perla and others) as they walk us through a tasting of 8 distinctive tequilas while we discuss the basics and the nitty gritty of the tequila world.

This class is for newcomers to tequila and afficionatos alike. If you love spirits, cocktails, culinary adventure, Mexico, and good times, this class is for you.

This class is a fundraiser for the Boothby Center. Julio and Tomas and our tequila sponsors are donating their time and products in support of the Boothby Center. Please join us in this rare treat of having these two experts in the same room and in a classroom environment.
